The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that 77 people died and more than 250 people were injured as a result of an attack on a crowd waiting for food aid in the Gaza Strip. The deceased were taken to Kamal Adwan and Al-Shifa Hospitals.
Describing the incident as “genocide,” the ministry called on the international community to “urgently intervene” to ensure a ceasefire as the only way to protect civilians.
