The Israeli government released a total of 369 Palestinians following Hamas’ release of 3 Israelis in the Gaza Strip during the 6th exchange process as part of the first phase of the ceasefire agreement.
Some of the Palestinians were greeted by their relatives and other Palestinians in the city of Ramallah.
Among the released prisoners are 36 Palestinians sentenced to life imprisonment, while 111 were arrested in the Gaza Strip after October 7, 2023.
