The Israel Defense Forces reported that new airstrikes were carried out against Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon, without giving details. Shortly after their attack, 25 rockets were fired from Lebanon into northern Israel. Israeli police said the rockets caused damage and fires.

The Israel Defense Forces Home Front Command ordered residents of the northern city of Safed and several other northern settlements to stay close to shelters until further notice.
