Thirteen Palestinians were killed and 20 injured as a result of Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip at night. The Israel Defense Forces stated that Khalil Bahitini, one of the commanders of the Islamic Jihad Movement, Tariq Ezzaldin, the spokesman of the movement, and Jihad Ghanem, the secretary of the military council, were killed in the attacks.
It was stated that Israel will continue its air strikes and Israelis in Gaza were warned to move to safe areas as Israel stated it would continue its airstrikes.
