At least 3 Palestinians were killed in an Israeli forces raid on the northern city of Jenin in the occupied West Bank. As stated by the Palestinian Ministry of Health, those killed in the raid were Ismail Fakhoury (26), Nayef Malayshah (25) and Ahmad Fashafsha (22). According to eyewitnesses, Israeli soldiers raided the town and opened fire on a vehicle carrying three Palestinians.
Since the beginning of 2023, the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces has increased to 77.
Authorities have reported that the death toll from a fire that broke out during a concert attended by 1,000 people in the town of Kočani, North Macedonia, has risen to 59.
Health Minister Arben Taravari said that approximately 148 people were taken to hospitals in Skopje, Kočani and surrounding towns, and that 18 people were seriously injured.
Interior Minister Pance Toskovski said that the fire, which broke out at 03:00 local time, started when sparks from pyrotechnic devices used during the concert ignited the roof, and that arrest warrants had been issued for four people in connection with the incident.
