Israeli forces targeted an arms depot near Hmeimim Air Base, Russia’s largest military facility in Syria. The attack, which took place in Japleh, near the port city of Latakia, involved drones and fighter jets. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported heavy damage and powerful explosions at the site.
Syrian air defense systems and Russian forces responded after nearly 50 minutes. No casualties were reported.
