Israeli forces struck the Burj Shemali district, the town of Deir Mimas, the south of the capital Beirut, the Qotrani Town and the Deir Qanoun Ras Al-Ain Town in Lebanon. According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, the attacks killed three health workers in the town of Qotrani and two health workers in the town of Deir Qanoun Ras Al-Ain and injured several more.
Student-led protesters in Serbia have blockaded state broadcasters RTS and RTV, demanding management overhaul or complete shutdown due to alleged biased reporting. Tents were set up outside buildings in Belgrade and Novi Sad, blocking entry and disrupting broadcasts. RTS called the blockade illegal, while RTV’s head labeled it “terrorism.”
The protests follow a deadly building collapse in Novi Sad that killed 15 people in November 2024. Despite government reshuffles and resignations, demonstrations persist. President Aleksandar Vucic dismissed the unrest as a failed “color revolution.”
