After the agreement between Israel and Morocco to normalize relations, Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid made his first official visit to Morocco. Foreign Minister Lapid arrived in Rabat, the capital of Morocco, with Minister of Welfare and Social Services Meir Cohen, Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee chairman Ram Ben Barak, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs Director Alon Ushpiz. Lapid will meet with his Moroccan counterpart Nasser Bourita today, and the Israeli diplomatic representation will be officially opened in Rabat tomorrow.
