Hamas’s armed wing released footage of Israeli hostage Omri Miran, who marked his second birthday in captivity in Gaza. Miran criticized the Israeli government for the failed prisoner swap, saying, “Netanyahu supporters don’t care—some would rather see us dead.”
He urged mass protests outside Prime Minister Netanyahu’s home and called on former U.S. President Donald Trump to intervene. Miran said hostages live in constant fear and receive limited food due to the blockade on Gaza. He also blamed Israeli leaders for the events of October 7.
Miran’s condition was previously confirmed as stable by a released hostage.
