Three missiles were fired from Israeli warplanes against an area in the middle of the Gaza Strip. Palestinian media reported that a fire broke out and the houses of residents were seriously damaged. An area north of the town of Beit Lahia and agricultural lands in the central and northern parts of Gaza were also targeted by warplanes. No casualties were reported.
According to a statement of the Israel Defense Forces, Israeli airplanes attacked Hamas sites in response to a missile fired from Gaza into Israel last night.
