The recent rainfall in Istanbul, following a dry spell, remains a crucial source for the city’s water supply from its dams. Over the last two days, heavy rain has significantly boosted the water levels in these reservoirs. According to ISKI (Istanbul Water and Sewerage Administration) data, the dam occupancy has surged to 31.03 percent. Notably, from November 17, where the rate stood at 17.65 percent, the recent rains have increased water levels by 5.56 percent in the dams.
