After two years of extensive restoration work, the Maiden’s Tower, a landmark of Istanbul dating back to 410 B.C., has been reopened with a stunning light and laser show. Thousands of Istanbulites gathered at the Salacak coast to witness the grand reopening. During the restoration, the tower was restored to its original form during the reign of Mahmud II. The excess roof additions were removed, and the tower was restored to its original design. The Maiden’s Tower now stands as a testament to Istanbul’s rich cultural heritage, ready to be explored by visitors from all over the world
