Tripadvisor has included İztuzu Beach in Muğla, Türkiye, in its 2025 Travelers’ Choice list, ranking it 14th among Europe’s best beaches. Known for its golden sands and clear waters, the 5.4-kilometer-long beach is also a vital nesting ground for endangered Caretta Caretta sea turtles.
To protect the turtles, part of the beach is under conservation, and a Sea Turtle Research, Rescue, and Rehabilitation Center operates on-site. Tripadvisor’s rankings are based on millions of traveler reviews, with İztuzu praised for its natural beauty, cleanliness, and ecological significance.
