Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi and US President Donald Trump signed two agreements in Tokyo aimed at boosting economic cooperation and securing the supply of critical minerals and rare earth elements.
The first deal, titled “Implementation of the Agreement Towards a New Golden Age for the US-Japan Alliance,” focuses on strengthening economic security and growth. The second establishes a framework for joint efforts in mining, processing, and ensuring supply chain stability for rare earths and other critical minerals.
