Kilauea Volcano, one of the world’s most active volcanoes, erupted in the Hawaiian archipelago, spewing lava. According to the US Geological Survey (USGS), lava from the 1-kilometer-long crater spread over several meters. The eruption occurred in a remote part of the national park, posing no immediate threat to residents or infrastructure. Kilauea’s last eruption was in September.

The missile also triggered alerts in parts of the West Bank and areas near Jerusalem.
Air traffic at Ben Gurion Airport was temporarily suspended as a precaution. The Israeli military announced that the missile was intercepted by air defense systems, and there were no reports of casualties or damage.
Since March 18, when Israel resumed its offensive on Gaza after breaking a ceasefire, the Houthis have launched 42 ballistic missiles and at least 10 drones toward Israel.
