A new eruption occurred in the summit crater of Kilauea Volcano in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park on Hawaii Island, USA, at 20:22 local time yesterday, according to the Hawaii Volcano Observatory.
It was stated that the eruption did not pose a threat to nearby areas.
Kilauea Volcano, where regular volcanic eruptions have occurred except for a quiet period between 1924 and 1952, had eruptions that lasted about 3 months in 2018, destroying more than 700 homes nearby.
