King Charles III visited Palace of Westminster after death of Elizabeth II to receive condolences. Receiving the parliament members’ condolences, Charles III shared his appreciation in his speech. “Parliament is the living and breathing instrument of our democracy,” says Charles. He then stood for national anthem performed in Palace of Westminster.
After that, King III. Charles and Consort Queen Camilla set out for Edinburgh to take part in Elizabeth’s funeral convoy moving from Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh to St Giles Cathedral.
Queen Elizabeth’s funeral is expected to be opened to the public after the mass to be held at St Giles Cathedral today.
