Iraqi Kurdish Regional Government President Nechirvan Barzani visited Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku to tackle the main aspects of the cooperation that started in Munich in February. The two discussed strengthening economic and commercial relations, investments, cooperation in the field of energy, increasing tourism opportunities, opening direct flights and other issues.

He recalled that Istanbul hosted the first round on May 16 and said Russia will continue to demand the repeal of laws in Ukraine that restrict the Russian language, culture, and the Russian-linked Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Lavrov reiterated that Ukraine’s neutral status remains a key demand in peace efforts.
