The annual fire drill, Shamel 8, was launched in the Arifjan area of Al-Ahmadi Governorate in Kuwait, with many ministries and government agencies participating. The fire drill has been held annually since 2014 to ensure the safety and security of citizens and residents in Kuwait with joint coordination.

Türkiye has delivered 101,271 tons of humanitarian aid to Gaza since Israel’s attacks began on October 7, 2023. Under AFAD coordination and with support from ministries and NGOs, 14 planes and 16 ships carried vital supplies, including food, medicine, and shelter. Aid included 65,273 tons of flour, 25,180 tents, 53 ambulances, 8 field hospitals, and thousands of hygiene kits, water, and clothing. The ongoing blockade and bombardment have created a severe humanitarian crisis in Gaza, with urgent needs for shelter, food, water, and medical support.
