Landslide rips through China highway, killing One

A landslide occurred on a highway in Yichang, China’s Hubei province, resulting in the road splitting and one fatality. Five people were injured, and seven individuals are still missing. The Ministry of Emergency Management declared a fourth-level emergency, deploying over 390 search and rescue workers. Seventeen residents were successfully evacuated to safe areas.
