A 40 meters long superyacht carrying 4 passengers and 5 crew members sank about 15km away from Catanzaro coast in Italy. A patrol boat and a Romanian vessel passing around were directed to the area. The 9 people were successfully transported but the superyacht fully sank during being towed away to harbor. Italy Coast Guard stated that the bad weather conditions made it difficult to tow away the superyacht.
