A 10-meter-tall tree collapsed on visitors in a tourism facility near the city of Leon, the capital of the state of Guanajuato in Mexico. A baby died and 12 others were injured. Two of the casualties were reported to be in serious condition.
Eyewitnesses stated that the tree collapsed suddenly, giving the casualties no time to escape. Stating that the incident was caused by the strong winds, the authorities closed the facility and took it under investigation.
