Lebanese Hezbollah announced that 62 rockets were fired at Israel’s Meron air base as a “first reaction” to the murder of Hamas’ Deputy Political Bureau Chief Salih Al Aruri in Beirut on January 2. Sirens were heard from the area after the attack. No information regarding loss of life or damage has been shared yet.
The Israel Defense Forces reported that around 40 rockets were fired against the group that is responsible for the previous attacks that targeted Hezbollah points in Lebanon.
