Many points in the city of Lviv, which is located in western Ukraine and serves as the last stop for civilians before heading abroad, have been converted into shelters. Les Kurbas Theater, one of the city’s major art centers, was one of these points. Students in the theater began to volunteer for war victims by converting every available space, including the stage, into accommodation. Food and medicine needs can also be met at the art center, which also accepts donations. Children fleeing the war are now playing in the scene where many plays were performed before the Russian invasion.
