The event, which took place on July 29, drew significant attention on social media. Iowa has been in the throes of storms and tornadoes since the end of last month, adding to the spectacle.

The ship, sent by President Erdoğan in October 2024, is now returning to Türkiye with naval support. It is expected to arrive in early July via the Suez Canal.
The data will be analyzed in Ankara to prepare for future offshore drilling near Somalia.
