An earthquake of magnitude 7.7 caused a building collapse on Azerbaijan Boulevard in the Şazibey area of Kahramanmaraş. A young child was trapped in the rubble and successfully rescued by a search and rescue team. Şahin, a 5-year-old, was found alive within the ruins of the building 30 hours after the quake occurred.
The search and rescue efforts continue.
