Malaysia to Resume Search for MH370 Wreckage

Malaysia has partnered with U.S.-based marine search firm Ocean Infinity to restart the search for Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370, which vanished in 2014 with 227 passengers and 12 crew. Transport Minister Anthony Loke announced the agreement, confirming the company will receive $70 million if it locates the wreckage.

The renewed search focuses on a new area in the Indian Ocean, with Ocean Infinity, which previously led efforts in 2018, presenting the proposal. Loke expressed hope that this mission will bring closure to the victims’ families.
