Demonstrators in cities like Kyiv, Lviv, and Odessa decried the law as an “authoritarian move” aimed at consolidating President Zelensky’s power.
Zelensky defended the law, citing the need to purge anti-corruption agencies of Russian influence. He stressed the importance of ensuring justice and accountability.
