Following unofficial election results, members of a party gathered at the CHP party building on Yeni Mahalle Karağolanoğlu Street to celebrate their victory. As festivities continued, a large group moved to the second-floor balconies of the building. Unfortunately, one of the balconies collapsed under the weight, injuring seven party members. Among the injured was CHP District Deputy Chairman Mehmet Palaz, whose condition was critical due to a head injury. Despite medical efforts, Palaz passed away at Pamukkale University Hospital.
The death toll from Israel’s airstrike on Lebanon’s Dahiyeh region has risen to four, with seven others injured. The Israeli military confirmed the attack killed Hezbollah official Hassan Ali Mahmoud Bdeir, accusing him of collaborating with Hamas to plan attacks on Israeli civilians.
The strike, directed by Mossad and carried out with Shin Bet’s support, targeted a building near Beirut, damaging multiple floors and vehicles. This marks Israel’s second ceasefire violation since November 27. Lebanese President Joseph Aoun condemned the attack as a breach of the truce.
