A fire, reportedly caused by a short circuit, erupted at Galaxy Mall in Greater Noida, India. Amidst the panic, two individuals attempted to escape through the mall’s window. Onlookers outside the mall positioned soft objects like beds and cushions beneath the building, encouraging the trapped individuals to jump. One person eventually dropped from the third floor, sustaining severe injuries to the head and spinal cord, and is now in critical condition. While firefighters continue their efforts to extinguish the blaze, local sources indicate at least five people have been injured.
