A 36-year-old armed attacker carried out an attack at a marketplace in Rustavi, Georgia, 20 kilometers away from the capital, Tbilisi. Georgian authorities reported that the attacker killed four people and injured another at the scene. He was taken into custody after being spotted in a pharmacy. One of the dead was determined to be the attacker’s uncle, and the injured was his cousin.

Indian Tejas Fighter Jet Crashes at Dubai Airshow, Killing Pilot

India’s domestically built HAL Tejas fighter jet crashed during a demonstration flight at the Dubai Airshow in the UAE, killing the pilot. The aircraft burst into flames moments after takeoff.

The Indian Air Force confirmed the pilot’s death, and an investigation is underway. The cause of the crash is still unknown. This is the second reported crash involving a General Electric-powered Tejas aircraft, following an incident during a 2024 exercise in India.
