Mars helicopter successfully completes its historic first flight

A small helicopter, called Ingenuity, has successfully completed its first flight on Mars. The data returned to Earth approximately 3 hours later and NASA announced that the Ingenuity helicopter rose about 3 meters and was airborne for less than a minute.
