After a four-year hiatus, Iranian religious leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei led Friday prayers in Tehran, drawing hundreds of thousands of worshippers. Following the prayers at Imam Khomeini Musalla, thousands of demonstrators took to the streets to protest Israel and the United States.
Protesters chanted slogans like “Down with Israel” and “Down with the US,” while also expressing support for Hezbollah and Palestine. Banners and flags of Iran, Lebanon, Hezbollah, and Palestine were displayed, with messages such as “Israel will perish” and “Resistance will not die.”
