A fire broke out in a building under construction near a high school in Winnipeg, Canada. It was stated that the flames that spread in a short time spread to 2 surrounding buildings and a parking lot. While the surrounding buildings were evacuated safely, 10 firefighters who came to the scene intervened in the fire. The fire was brought under control after hours of extinguishing efforts by the teams. It was stated that while the building and the car park under construction became completely unusable, 2 buildings where the flames spread were damaged. No loss of life or injury was reported in the fire.

An investigation has been launched by the authorities regarding the fire.
