A massive fire broke out in a mattress factory in Zmir’s Torbal district. The fire reduced approximately 30,000 square meters to ashes, rendering the factory unusable. Three people were taken to the hospital as a result of the smoke. Firefighters are still trying to put out the fire.
Nature Walk on Türkiye’s Historic Lost Santa Road
In Gümüşhane’s Dumanlı Village, 38 nature lovers from GÜDAK took part in a 14-kilometer nature walk along the “Lost Santa Road” through the Santa Ruins. Amid fog, drizzle, bird sounds, and blooming flowers, participants followed stone-paved forest paths past historic churches, fountains, and bridges dating back to the 17th century. Known as “Paradise in the Valley,” the Santa Ruins, with seven neighborhoods of centuries-old architecture, offered a blend of natural beauty and deep-rooted history.
