A tornado struck Morton, Texas, in the United States. The Meteorology Service advised residents in the area not to go outside and to remain safe. The warning also stated that the tornado is expected to cause damage to vehicles and roofs, and advised people to “protect themselves from blown debris pieces.”
Members of Italy’s opposition Five-Star Movement (M5S) wore black, white, and green T-shirts, representing the Palestinian flag, during a parliamentary session to protest the government’s stance on Gaza. Riccardo Ricciardi criticized Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s government for not recognizing the State of Palestine, despite widespread global recognition. Ricciardi accused the government of complicity in the ongoing conflict, calling it a “genocide” and condemning their support for what he described as “the greatest massacre of this century.”
