Meteor Fireball Lights Up Japan Sky

A bright meteor, or “fireball,” streaked across Japan’s night sky at 11:08 PM, dazzling viewers in Kagoshima and Miyazaki prefectures. Amateur footage showed the flash briefly turning night into day. Experts said it was likely a meteor burning up in the atmosphere and may have fallen into the ocean.
