Mexican Cartel Attacks Security Forces to Rescue Arrested Member: 12 Killed

Members of a crime gang named Los Cazadores opened fire on security forces on a highway in Hermosillo, the capital of Sonora state in northern Mexico, to save Carlos Humberto, the son of arrested cartel hitman Jesus Humberto. Authorities stated that 12 cartel members were killed and 2 security forces were injured. At least 7 injured cartel members managed to escape from the scene.
