A Turkish Army Aviation School UH-1 helicopter crashed near a gas station in Isparta’s Keçiborlu district, resulting in the deaths of all six personnel aboard.
Initially, five personnel were reported martyred, with one critically injured and transported to a hospital. However, the Ministry of National Defense later confirmed the injured individual also succumbed to injuries, bringing the total casualties to six.
Emergency teams, including firefighters, gendarmerie, police, and medical responders, swiftly arrived at the scene following the crash. The Ministry expressed condolences, stating, “May Allah have mercy on our martyrs, and we extend our deepest sympathies to their families and the Turkish Armed Forces.”
An investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
