A dog named Zoey in the US state of California, was found thanks to his microchip and reunited with his family after being missing for 12 years. Police were notified after Zoey was found sick and exhausted by a person in Stockon city of California State. Later on, an animal services officer scanned Zoey’s microchip and it’s been found out that the dog Zoey have been missing since 2010. After learning Zoey’s family using the same phone number and contacting the family, Brandon Levin from San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office said, “Zoey’s owner was in shock”.

“I definitely didn’t expect this to ever happen so I’m really excited. We got her and her twin sister from the pound when they were 6 months old. She was with us for about 6 months. We went to the store for about 20 minutes and came back and she was missing. I’m excited to hopefully bring her back, get her healthy and let her live the rest of her life,” said Michelle, who immediately took action to get her dog.

In Cologne, Germany, 20,500 people were evacuated after three unexploded World War II bombs were discovered during roadworks in the Deutz district. Authorities launched the city’s largest evacuation since 1945 to safely defuse the bombs, which included two one-ton and one 500-kg US-made devices.

The operation affected 58 hotels, 9 schools, a hospital, nursing homes, and museums. Three bridges over the Rhine, rail lines, and ship traffic were temporarily shut down. Bomb disposal teams from Düsseldorf worked to defuse the bombs during the day. Such wartime bomb finds remain common in Germany, especially in North Rhine-Westphalia.
