At least 75 people have died and 130 others were injured in floods triggered by monsoon rains across Pakistan over the past 10 days, according to the National Disaster Management Agency (NDMA). The worst-hit region was Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with 28 deaths, followed by Punjab (22), Sindh (15), Balochistan (10), and Azad Kashmir (4).

The floods damaged 192 homes and swept away 91 farm animals. Rescue teams carried out 19 operations, saving 233 people. The NDMA’s Emergency Operations Center has issued an alert until July 10, warning of continued heavy rain and flooding.
