The dome of a mosque was completely burned down and collapsed in a fire that broke out at the Islamic Center Mosque in Jakarta, Indonesia’s capital. The mosque, located in a busy area, was quickly brought under control thanks to 21 fire trucks and over 100 firefighters dispatched to the scene. According to the initial investigation conducted following the collapse of the mosque, the fire started due to negligence, as some workers did welding works near flammable materials. Four people are reportedly being questioned in connection with the incident.
