A session of the Punjab Provincial Assembly in Pakistan descended into chaos after opposition MP Khalid Nisar Dogar (PTI) slapped ruling party MP Hassan Riaz (PML-N). The altercation, sparked by a heated exchange, ended with the session being adjourned. Ruling party members demanded disciplinary action against Dogar.
The Palestinian Health Ministry reported that Israel’s attacks on Gaza have killed 62,895 people and injured 158,927 since October 7, 2023. In the last 24 hours alone, 76 people were killed and 298 injured.
At aid distribution points, deaths have risen to 2,158, with nearly 16,000 wounded. The ministry also said 10 more civilians, including two children, died of starvation, bringing Gaza’s hunger-related death toll to 313.
