Eid al-Fitr is celebrated by Muslims all around the world. Muslims in Paris, the capital of France, performed their Eid prayers in a gym hall due to the limited capacity of the Goussainville Great Mosque.
Muslims in England flocked to Aziziye Mosque in the capital, London, to perform the Eid prayers. Eid prayers were held three times due to the intense participation.
Muslims in Bosnia and Herzegovina rushed to mosques around the country to offer Eid prayers. Muslims in Sarajevo prayed at the Gazi Husrev Bey Mosque in the city center, as well as in smaller mosques. The courtyard of the historical mosque, where the prayers were conducted by Husein Kavazovic, President of the Islamic Union of Bosnia and Herzegovina, overflowed.
In Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, Muslims flocked to the Süleymaniye Mosque for Eid prayers. Following the prayers, Muslims celebrated Eid with one another. The congregation was also provided tea and sugar by mosque personnel.
Muslims in Bergamo, Italy’s Lombardy province, came to the mosque of the Curno Union of Islamic Societies for Eid prayers. Imam Almahdi Belhaj led the prayers, which gathered a large crowd. Imam Belhaj wished everyone a happy holiday and honored the festival of all Muslims around the world.
