While the number of people in the shelters increases especially in the evening hours, people struggle for life in difficult conditions in shelters where food and beverage opportunities are limited.

Dmitry, who lives in the bunker, said in a statement: “Of course I am afraid, every person is afraid of war, there is no one who is not afraid of war. War touches everyone in different ways, but still the essence is the same. Russians ruined everything and most people do not know what happened to their relatives. I have relatives, I don’t know what’s going on with them, I’m not connected. What can I think about that?”

Olya, who stayed in the shelter to avoid air attacks, said, “I live here. Of course I’m afraid, missiles are flying. Of course it’s scary and people come here to be closer to each other. They came to the shelter because they are afraid at home. I live alone at home, so I am afraid there alone. My daughter and grandchildren went to Estonia, they live there. I’m here now too. This place is safe for me. In principle, I’m happy with everything here, but it would definitely be nice to have voluntary help. We go to the Red Cross, of course we give products, but always It doesn’t work,” he said.
