The rift on the side of an 80-meter-high cliff that is located next to a road in the Uzundere district of Türkiye’s Erzurum has preserved its mystery over the years. Due to its position on the steep cliff, the rift, which is eight meters long and three meters wide, could never be discovered. The mysterious rift, which is called ‘Black Gate’, has been subject to many stories made up by locals.
