Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Türkiye and Qatar would not take part in the International Stabilization Force planned under the second phase of the Gaza ceasefire, stating, “It is being said that we will bring Turkish and Qatari soldiers to Gaza. That will not happen.”
Speaking at a press conference in Jerusalem, Netanyahu said Israel’s priorities are disarming Hamas and clearing Gaza of weapons and tunnels, adding that reconstruction without disarmament “will not happen.” He also said Israel would retain security control from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean, including Gaza, and warned that any Iranian attack on Israel would be met with an unprecedented response.
