The death toll from an attack on the Liberian-flagged, Greek-operated cargo ship Eternity C in the Red Sea has risen to four. The ship, carrying 22 crew members—21 Filipinos and one Russian—was struck by drones and RPGs launched from Houthi speedboats, according to EU naval mission Aspides.
Two crew members were also injured, and the vessel is now drifting. This brings the number of deaths from Houthi attacks on ships in the Red Sea since June 2024 to eight.
