A new footage of the second earthquake that occurred in Kahramanmaraş showed the moments when vehicles and people escaped from being under a collapsed building at the last moment. While the people around were trying to escape from the area where the buildings were destroyed, man, along with a father and his two daughters, barely managed to escape of the dust smoke created by the destruction.

Travelers from other regions, including Şanlıurfa, also came to enjoy the view, turning the lakeside into a popular spot for moon gazing and photography.
