Newly released footage has shed light on the October 19 robbery at the Louvre Museum in Paris, where jewelry worth €88 million was stolen. Broadcast by French television, the images show suspects smashing display cases in the Apollo Gallery and collecting the jewels within minutes as security guards hesitated to intervene. The robbery lasted about seven minutes, and the suspects escaped on motorcycles after entering the museum by force. Although those involved were later arrested, the stolen royal jewelry has not been recovered. Authorities said additional security measures have since been planned at the museum.
